Well the econ is based on the consumers ability to buy, and with the glitched coins all gone there's less of a supply of coins for the demand of them.

I don't know much about the glitched coins because I wasn't active here when it happened. o:
But I do know that the Lumi starters have been sold at the games corner for 10k coins since I first started my account on Creed. And that rates are simply one's own opinion of what a specific Pokemon is worth. I hope this helps answer your question. (:
