Ok first off all there is 3 training methods one for training quick and easy and the other for ghost pokemon and the last for more advanced training.
First method is trainer richard the first off the Intermediate Trainers just go to your pokemon and learn bolt strike.
and just attack it using that attack you will always win.
Second method is if you have a ghost pokemon (most common used gollet and golruk) and use bolt strike on the 3rde trainer off the Intermediate Trainers. This ghost pokemon won't get hit at all.
Third and final method is legendary's the hardest kind off training.
Here for you need a few good around the same level ghost pokemon (my current team setup) and a pokemon with the move toxic.
First poison the zapdos with toxic and than attack it with blizzard.
Ghost pokemon are very useful here because they don't get hit as often as normal pokemon do.

Also a good thing to keep in mind poison hits on the enemy's level not based on the pokemon in battle so if the pokemon is level 1000 and has a total off 2500 hp and has only 200 hp left or so, you can set out a level 5 attack with blizzard witch won't hit 200 but the poison will kill it none the less.
And even if the level 5 is dead you still get the exp.
