Da Man didn't have enough time to change it, and he could've made the Sy.Shinx a weekly Promo if he wanted to.
Promos can be any type, so shinies can be Promos, there is nothing said that Promos have to be Cursed, Shadow, Luminous etc..
Maybe Creed doesn't want to add all the normals/shinies in the game, this is Creed, not other games, so it has it's ways of adding Pokemon.

Most of my favourite pokemon are not in the game.
They are
Ursaring
Nidoking
Palkia
Dialga
Deoxys , etc.

Yeah and Dunsparce aren't either. :/

I think it's been a gtreat idea to start putting shinies in promos. The most sought after pokes are always going to be the Cursed, Rainbow, Shadow, Luminous etc... but only leaving them up for 1 day limits the amount people buy with is good because people have less time to abuse the promo centre.

So adding in the obtainable in game shinies pretty much meaning no promo is available is fine.
Shinyshinx was a good promo as that isnt available in game.

On promo's i'd like to see some of the normals that are not available in game used as promos like Heracross, Gligar, the Unova starters and id like this only 1 day for the coloured promo's to continue.
