A step by step guide, somewhat
So in the game, I've learned a lot, and made some good choices and inferences. I also tend to pick up on more subtle things than the average person. So, ahh... Here we go.
On your own, wandering the streets with a level five pokemon, you see some local training dummies (NPCs). You see rewards every time you win, so, hungry, you march in there. 1-Play NPCs. Play them a lot. Try to get your starter pokemon to around L25. And if you want to up your trainer level a bit until you really get used to battling (as well as netting a few extra thousand), go to the Battle Tent and pick three pokemon. You will fight starting from L30, up by 15 level increments. So now you have a strong little guy. But you see a sparkle in his/her eye. They feel confident and you pick up on something... 2-If you want, go to "Your Pokemon" on the left of the website under Main Menu, the look at the upper middle of the page and you'll see evolve pokemon. Click on it, and you'll be sent straight to evolve the pokemon in your #1 slot, which can be moved around. Evolving gives extra benefits, like higher hp, but if the pokemon's no longer cute, then no point in evolving right? 3-Now go to the Gym (Under Battles, Kanto Gyms) and duel against Brock. If you don't win, just train a little more. You should get that badge now before it's too easy. I like the challenge, and gives the game extra playability. (I'll continue on the story portion later, but for now, just the guide. It's late and I am sort of tired.) 4-Get some pokeballs. You don't want your starter to be lonely, so on the right side of the screen, click on any Map and you will be there. I recommend 5-10 pokeballs (bought from Mart Co. on the left side of the screen) then just walk around and capture the pokemon you find until you're out of pokeballs. Take them with you back home. (Tip: to add pokemon to your battle roll, go to "Your Pokemon," and under "Check Box," click search. Don't type anything in, and all your pokemon will show up. Then, just assign them a slot.) 5-When you're ready to start training with your new pokemon, do NPC battles again, but this time, use your starter to weaken the opposing pokemon to about 5hp. Switch to another pokemon, and then use him to finish the opponent off. He will gain several levels from this. You can keep on doing this to level all your pokemon. 6-Money still tight? Set aside one pokemon that doesn't fit your playing style (under Your Pokemon, click send slots 2-6 to box), and go to "Sell Pokemon" under Trades/Misc at the left side. Your pokemon will show up, and sell the one that you don't need. Don't worry, he won't mind. Pokemon nowadays are used to fighting solo, trainers are just accessories to them. (In selling a L50, you can get $1.2 million. But at beginner level, $100,000 is still a lot so don't worry about sale price. Just stay cool. You don't even need to do Auto-Sell, wait a day or two and someone is sure to buy it.) 7-Make sure (in Games Corner) you're doing Wailord's Lucky Dip and Daily Raffle. You might get lucky and get rich! Just so you don't feel cheap by winning, 10 million dollars isn't even that much money, let alone 2.5 million. It just looks like a lot, but trust me, inflation is bad. You can tell that the 250 coins isn't much, but it definitely helps. You're not poor, not rich... You're middle class. 8-So now you want more coins? You must have went to that rich part of town where the cute girl wants you to buy stuff for her, then you quickly find out about the not so secret currency for the rich. Currently, what I find to be the easiest way to get coins is to go to the Auction House and click Hold Auction. You can put up two pokemon in the same way you'd sell them for $, only the limit is two pokemon at any one time. Choose your amount of time and people will bid on your pokemon until the time runs out. The longer time, the more people can bid, and the higher the level, people'd generally want it more. (One coin generally goes for about $1 million, so you get a feel for their worth. I'm telling you, when you think you're getting a good deal buying her 19-coin earrings, they are really nineteen million $.) 9-Remember, you aren't the only one out there. You might get lucky and have people send you, knowing you're new and they were once in your shoes, L140 pokemon to jump-start you. Or even a special dude, whose name I won't disclose but is related to a carbonated drink (or is one) might help you out a LOT (still, thanks man!)... But do not pester the high level players. And keep an eye on your trainer level, it can help you watch your progress and compare to others. That's all the basics, to help you get to where you want to be as a beginner. Be sure to battle the NPCs and Gyms as you go along. Heck, maybe one day you'll be able to challenge the King's throne (the one with quads (quadrillion or 10^15) of experience) and... come close... Finally, if you have a question that needs immediate answer, don't be afraid to use the little chatroom. As a new guy, your goal should be to get 7,500 coins so you can get 30 days V.I.P. (heh heh, secret club). As for points, I'm sorry, but I have no idea what they are and how to get them other than some of the Games and Wailord Dip. Or how housing works. Lot of more complicated stuff. And if you say "Too long, didn't read," then I guess it's too bad, because you aren't getting any help. Good luck wandering aimlessly, living in your mother's basement. (game joke, hah)

L7400 Best Pokemon Luminous Golurk L7725 Want to know how to calculate XP? Experience=Level^3. At L2000, you have 8b XP. If you're wondering what another 6b XP would get you, add it, then take the cube root. 14b would get Level 2410. So, did this guide help anyone? If followed directly, I think it helps the newbies 100% as I wrote it the second I left noobility. If it didn't help, do I even need to continue on to stuff like Battle Towers or Moving to other cities?

Here's an update I suppose.
Your goal should be 4500 coins, not 7500. The secret club isn't really anything. 4500 so you can buy the TM06 move, Toxic, which really helps with training. When you have your own high level pokemon, be it a gift or not, it'll take you 5-10 battles to level it up once. Toxic really helps, I hear. With toxic you might be able to defeat the Dragon Tamer or the Legendary NPC, Zapmolcuno. If you do the latter, you get the move fly, which will help you with an even harder NPC. Here... Regular trainers = x1 level, x1 XP Intermediate trainers = x2 level, x3.25 XP Professional trainer (Dragon) = x3 level, x6.5 XP (ignore nurse joy, she easy) Zapmolcuno = x6 level, x21 XP There is one more available once you beat everyone, he has 10x your level pokemon. They give x50 XP, enough to make your strongest pokemon level up 1-3 times per kill. He is at https://pokemoncreed.net/darkalley.php Ask in chat for a sensei, there might be someone willing to train one of your pokemon to a higher level. They might even invite you into a clan. This benefits the clan because all XP you get also is clan XP. Basically, if you're L100 when you join a clan, and you get to L200 when in the clan, all XP from 100 to 200 will count toward clan XP as well as trainer XP. Clan credits, from battling, can also be exchanged for rewards. Fighting Gyms is easy, when you finish all 8 in one place, move on to another by clicking 'Johto gyms,' where it'll tell you you have to be in Johto, then take you to the airport. It'll cost a million $, but ask anyone in chat if you don't have a million. A million is nothing, in $. If you train a pokemon to 100, you can use him to train any other to 50, which I think will sell for a million. 600 will autosell for $650 mil, or regular sell for $2.1 bil. People might not buy it for days if you regular sale a pokemon, but that's why I think L50 is worth a million. Then you can battle all the gyms in each region and fly to another. If anything else is needed let me know, I can do a little bit of help.
