how do you use exp lock effectively? because i know there is some way to use it well, but I'm not sure how

Left hand side > Manage Items > [Equip Starter] | [Use Items] | [Equip Items] > [Equip Starter] > Exp. Lock x2 [Equip] > [Equip] the Exp. Lock.

Now the Exp. Lock is on your starter and your starter will no longer gain any experience points.

no I'm not stupid i know how to equip it, but there is a strategy of how to use it but i can not figure it out

It's best to use it in combination with an Exp Share if you're trying to level up a lower leveled pokemon. Otherwise, if the Exp Lock wasn't equipped to the starter, the pokemon that's holding the Exp Share would only gain half the experience while the starter gains the other half. Hope that helps :)

If you are owning a clan just get a lvl 2999 pokemon and equip it to the pokemon and when people need to train for clan just loan it to them because cap=2999+10% of TL and some people only have 0 TL :P
