You can loan pokemon to someone or loan a pokemon from someone for Specific Hours/Minutes.After the loan time is over the pokemon still remains with the borrower until it's taken back by the owner or returned by the borrower, that can be done at Manage Trades>Loaned Pokemon.

Loaned Pokemon
Pokemon can only be traded or sold by the owner. The other person is merely borrowing the pokemon for the allotted amount of time; if you loan a pokemon, you still retain ownership of that pokemon. This is the most common method of getting someone else to train a pokemon for you, as you cannot be scammed by having the loaned pokemon stolen from you. This is also a way to get around the level cap, as long as the loaned pokemon is under your cap when you initially loan it out. Even if you loan a pokemon to someone to be trained and they are frozen or banned for whatever reason, you are still able to return it to your box (I know this last part from experience). Hope this helped :)

Thanks guys that helped a lot. I was afraid that someone would sell it so thanks for reassuring me.
