LOL u dont need that kind of thing when u can beat mystery trainer
well if u just started i would recommend u battling the NPC swimmer use bolt strike against him and redeem some coins to get toxic till u can beat mystery trainer

NPC swimmer, bolt strike
I would recommend doing this in order to level up quickly. In terms of a 'training gym' you could try battling the same gym, but the levels of the gyms pokemon do not change with your pokemon's levels. In my opinion, only battle the gyms in order to get the badges, not to train.

Well, I used to play on another pokemon site similar to this one, and when you battled certain users on player fight, they opposing pokemon didn't fight back, but they were really high level, so they called them gyms.
