Does their trainer lv have to be at 7k if you're putting a 7k against their pokemon? O,o I don't like taking chances so i'm training my pokemon quite a bit...

man the easiest way to win is not put any Pokemon in the racing order just click on race Pokemon and just choose the highest lvl pokemon you have and win without any losses but if u want to get rid of a pokemon u don't like just add your pokemon to the race but if u eant to have a lot of fun just add a very rare high level pokemon like a shadow giratina at lvl 20000 or above
u will win the race for sure

no joelabraham .......tyzor u need to have a trainer lvl of 7k to get a 7k from auction or evn from racing ....u can ut any pokemon but u need to have that much trainer lvl

Nah, i was asking something like this:
Ex. S.Jirachi lv 2k on races, owner of the jirachi has a TL of 4.3k

I have a lv 7k s. jirachi, would i be able to race it?

i think u cannot tyizor because if u loose according to ur example the 7k will be with a player who has a tl of 4k+ so he wont be able to get the s.jira so technically both the trainer lvl shuld be equal to race i guess

i think there is a limit to the pokemon level for racing or else if someone puts rare lvl 5 then anyone can put 1k pokemon to it and win the race

Yeah you are able to race that poke. You should race a 2k if you have a 7k of the same kind. Good Luck :)

:P a well, I'm still not positive, but I'll train my poke (currently at 3k) to 4-5k and race the 2.6k :) thanks for the help to all who tried. i appreciate it

Well bro try not to take it and maybe u wont be able to take it if the other person dont have desired lvl

If you wanna race against a pokemon there trainer level needs to be the same as the pokemon's level or higher

so all options of getting higher level are kinda level cap except loaning pokemon to train it to high level
