How does the Chinese New Year Work?
Is there a separate Chinese Calendar for China?
I'm really confused, since I heard that the Celebration goes on for a very long time. Could someone maybe explain this to me?

Because the Chinese calendar is lunisolar, the Chinese New Year is often referred to as the "Lunar New Year". In China it is also known as the Spring Festival.

What?! The Chinese New Year is or 30 days? Why so long? Is it like if 1 year in normal terms equals one Chinese Year? Or is I like a once in a few years thing?
I was just wondering, why is it 30 or 20 days

Chinese new year occurs once each year at the start of the Lunar calender and the Chinese usually celebrate it with big feasts featuring Asian cuisines.
