Why do people love shotguns so much when it can take away someone's life... I think they should ban all guns

It actually depends on the person... I just like it cause of it's fire power...

I didn't think people did love shotguns so much? Haha.
I mean, in games they're hated by most people because of such short range.
And in my opinion, banning all guns wouldn't help. It would hinder.

Ok, lets put this in perspective. If you ban all guns, the good people wouldn't have a way to defend themselves from the bad people that don't care so much about gun laws. If we don't have guns, there goes hunting for food that some hunting families rely on to eat for part of the year. I think any person that says all guns are bad, ban them all aren't really seeing the big picture. Psyduck is also right, as powerful as shotguns are, no one uses really uses these for crimes because you'd have to be pretty close to what you're shooting.

History has shown that with every weapons ban, young or old, that it always fails and does more harm than good. Yes, banning guns lowers the average gun death, but raises the other statistics of murder.The answer is not banning inanimate objects from everyday use for law abiding citizens. The answer is to go after the criminals, which by definition do not obey laws. So, in closing the idea of passing a law hoping that a criminal will obey it, knowing that by definition criminals do not obey laws, in the hopes that making average law abiding people defenseless against said criminals will make everyone safer? I see no logic in that.

i dont like weapons at all because people get hurt by them by accident

I love the fire power of shotguns and they really look like badass too.

We Can Ban the guns as there might be a alien invasion:D and fire power of shotguns are really cool:P

weapon can help and hurt people, when we in jungle, we need weapon like shotgun to protect our self

I like i becuase in a comedy flick a random hillbilly comes out with his shotgun and just shots it without warning and says the dumbest things. But i know i wont ever own one, because it would be dangerous to have.

weapons are not bad it can come handy for self protection it becomes bad when it comes to the hands of the wrong people

Shot guns are very powerfull and very deadly.But if guns were banned, how would we be protected? Police officers and other people who protect their country all use them to help people. So you can see that there is a plus side and a negative side to banning guns.

Unlike shotgun but as the same time they should only banned gun from the whole world (if there okay with banned guns) and not the military so that we can be protect and not have trouble

Well Shotguns are heavy duty guns that do lots of damage and is mostly used in the army and farms. Army use it for wars and farmers use it to scare some people off their property. And yes people do misuse the shotgun for own use.

Shotguns were made for hunting and I do like them if the are only for hunting
