The effect looks a bit over done. Try a different blending mode to make it lighter.

I agree with catcherpro that it needs to be lighter. It's hard to make out the details from afar.

It looks like this one was rushed a little bit and could have came out much better if you just took the time to plot it out a little more. 6/10
