Welcome !

I'm maybe not the most experienced guy around, but I think I can help a bit :)

Battles : Well, the battles work out pretty much like in any other Pokemon game, including the original Nintendo series. You choose a move, the opponent does too, and a winner is determined by taking in account move base damage, type effectiveness, defense, attack and speed. But I think you already knew that, right ?

So, what's a bit different here is that you can choose for no cost any moveset you want for your Pokemon, simply by clicking on it and saving your changes. Note that, in my experience, this varies depending on the electronic device you're using. With a PC that should be it. With an iPad/iPod, iPhone, what I use, it's somewhat different, but still easily accessible.

Now, some features in which the creed battling style differs from the classic battling style is that you can switch Pokemon at any time during the battle simply by clicking on your switch-in that appears on your roster on the battle screen, that switching itself doesnt cost you a turn or a free shot by your opponent, that you can at any time restart the battle and that you can battle virtually any Pokemon in the game. For example, if you want to battle my Golurk, you'd only have to visit my profile and then click on it :)

Most players use this to level up faster than battling trainer parties, normal NPC's or Gyms, as you can freely choose your opponent, and in a fairly accurate way in most cases, it's level. To get your pokemons to a higher level in a relatively low amount of time when you're starting, you could try battling with hydro pump some low levels fire types that you can find in the Pokemon rankings at a common rate.

There is more about battling, but I hope this helps as a useful introduction to the subject. You can look at the "help" section for more details, I think :)

More coming up :)

Here :)

Ahhh, money....

One of the most desired things in the universe, but yet so hard to obtain... Well, actually, money itself is quite easy to accumulate on creed, and there are many ways to do so. I do remember from my own experience that it doesn't look so when you first start. I think it took me ten battles to be able to purchase a poke ball ! Well, this is mainly due to the fact that the average level that you will be encountering at that stage is probably around 7, and that the amount of exp that you gain per win is negligible.

Other than battles, sources of quick cash include the daily Gift, selling cheap things (you will be able to sell basically anything for money-it's that common-but watch out for the values), beating gyms and others.

Now what I'm going to say now is partly my opinion, and will certainly surprise you. it is the reason why I'm not describing further the virtues of money.

it's simple : You don't need it.

What's really useful in Pokemon creed is coins. You can buy everything with the right amount of coins. they are however harder to obtain.

Here's something else : 1 coin is worth approximately 1M$ (Correct me anyone if I'm wrong). That means that you should actually already own the value of 30 000 000$ in your starting coins ! If you need money, trading coins for money would be possible, but I only recommend it in dire situations.

Now, what can you do with coins ?

The most important aspect of coins is that they are involved directly in the gain of colored Pokemon, which is probably the main attraction throughout the game. They are called promos, are available at the promo center originally, and are only purchased at a first stage with coins. The Auction House is ruled by coins ! A great portion of the rarer items in game are only available with coins ! Coins are the ultimate money around these parts, value them accordingly.

Again, I hope this helps, more info is available in other sections. I have to go now, enjoy Pokemon Creed !
