So you got scammed or you find that you have been hacked.
You must probably be thinking , "What can I do NOW?'".

let me tell you that going on the chat and typing " XXXXXXXXXX has SCAMMMEDD me BAN HIM !!!!!!! " Will not help. And will probably get you banned/muted

In this thread, I will show you how to protect yourself from being hacked and scammed, as well as showing you the proper way to go about making a report, if you have already been hacked or scammed.



Prevention is better than cure.


How to prevent Hacking


Do not share your password.With anyone.
Use a combination of numbers and letters.
NEVER Share it with anyone.
ALWAYS CHECK the website you are logging into. [ its has to be [you must login to view links] ]

AND THE RULES STATE THAT:


"It is against the rules to ask for passwords, and it is also against the rules to reveal your own password intentionally."

How to prevent Scamming.

THINK.
Example : Would a person train your Pokemon from level 5 to Level 5 k For 30 coins? No.


If a deal is too good to be true,it probable is a scam.
If your not too sure about a deal,ask someone either on the chat or the forums. There is always someone online who is willing to help.

ALWAYS TAKE SCREEN SHOTS of the PM/THREAD/CHAT where you have made your deal.
KEEP THE Screen Shots TILL the end of the trade.

Some guidelines to follow while:

1.Asking some to train your Pokemon
-ALWAYS loan,do NOT trade it to another person.
-PAY after the job is complete,not before.
-Check regularly the PROGRESS of your Pokemon.

2.Trading/Selling a Pokemon
- Look at the trade carefully.
-Never accept later date payments/trades Trade ONLY when the player can pay you on the spot.
- Anyone CANNOT help you if you voluntarily make a BAD TRADE.




How to Report A Scam

"Reporting someone is done through a PM, not posting and causing a racket in the forums." - Da Man [Pokemon Creed - RPG Rules]
"Do not accuse someone in the chats, if you have something to say, PM a Mod, SuperMod or an Admin"- Dualot [Pokemon Creed - Chat Rules]

Do not report without PROOF.

If you have been scammed,you need to make an email and send it to an admin/mod.
Include the following information in your PM:

1.Who allegedly scammed you and their ID
2.What they were supposed to Give/Do and what they have done
3.Use an imagehost to upload the picture. Example : [you must login to view links]
Put these links on the PM.
4.Send this mail to an admin/mod .
5.Wait patiently. Do not spam them with mails. They WILL reply when they can.


NO ONE can help you if you voluntarily negotiate a bad deal.A bad trade dose not mean a scam.

XX wants to train his lvl 3k Gengar to 3.5k
YY accepts and tells R. Mudkip as prize (YY has a lot of high level pokes)
XX makes trade.

See now if XX gives the prize in the beginning YY can scam him by not training.
If XX does not give the prize in the beggining after training he can take back the pokemon and does not give prize.

So there is no solution for helping in this condition

See then if we PM Da Man even if you wait a year he might not see it most of the times. It happens only very rarely that he takes a look at his PMs.

Even if he look at PM and he saw our PM he wont do anything.
I send him about 5-7PM and he have read at least 3Of it but did not do anything.
