Trade cap is trading caps.If you have a TL Below 2999 than the max LV you can trade is 2999.If you have the TL above 3000 than what you want to trade is 5% of your TL. - I am not sure,But this what i hear

Doesn't the trade cap hinder some newer players progress? Like suppose someone wanted to trade someone a high level Poke to kickstart their account.
