Maybe this:

Wailord spat out a ancient Rayquaza just for you! However, the Rayquaza left you responded to the seven dragon balls. Goku summoned the Rayquaza (Shenron), to take Goku to a faraway land.

At that point on... You and Rayquaza never met again. But then wailord was too sad and gave you 58 coins!:
