There are many ways to defeat this Npc. They are located on the bottom of ''Npc Fights''.. This is just one good way to Defeat the Birds... I suggest you to read the whole Post..Also The steps have been typed down by Xhinz [you must login to view links] the link to it..

The first and most important stuff you'd be needing for this is
1)Gollets/Golurks < The only Poke which Can withstand The 3 birds For Now..
2) Toxic - It can be on any pokemon in your party but I prefer a low level One with Toxic.
3) Fly - It can be on any pokemon This also is a very good move which you get after Defeating Articuno.. Fly will make your pokemon fly and dodge the move by your opponent. All of your pokemon needs a fly according to everyone.
4) Pecha Scarf- Protects the equipped pokemon from being badly poisoned :)

Well Lets get started..

1) Zapdos - This is one Cruel bird, Beware of it's Night Shade which Can also defeat Golurk.. But it's like a mind game , use fly whenever you think It's gonna night shade you :P

Moves for Defeating it: Toxic, Fly, Blizzard.. Etc Use Toxic First untill you See PSN On top of Zapdos. Same applies to the next two birds.
Golurk isn't affected by Zapdos' Moves except for Night shade..

2)Moltres: A Fire Bird , Beware of it's Fiery Fire Blast xD It affects Golurk with full damage ..

Moves For Defeating it: Toxic, Blizzard,Fly,Hydro Pump,Bolt Strike
Golurk is affected by It's Fire Blast and Toxic but not any other move.

3) Articuno: The final Ice Bird , It's Ice beam , Waterfall and Toxic (idk if it has) Damages Golurks very badly..

Moves For Defeating it: Toxic, Blue Flare,V- Create, Fly and many other Fire type moves

Golurk is affected by Waterfall, Ice beam and Toxic..

Note: Beating Articuno Is kinda tough coz You can't predict it's moves , I've experienced it xD , Articuno also Uses fly to dodge your moves so Beware!

Da man Might also Change it's moves so There is a subject to change.. You cannot tell when..

Very nice thread,will help lot's of people..Few things from my side,you can add it:
>Fly:The more number of pokemon have it,the better.
>Toxic:Zapdos & Articuno don't have toxic,only Moltres got it.
>Bolt Strike:It damages Moltres more than any other move you mentioned.
>V-Create:It's the strongest move against Articuno,Blue Flare is next. But using any of these can get the pokemon fainted,so only FLY against Articuno unless none of the other party pokemons have fainted in previous battles.

So the best move set will be:
>Bolt Strike >Blizzard >V-Create >Fly
In case of TOXIC,replace V-Create with it.Articuno can be damaged using Bolt Strike too.

everyone says you need fly to beat it but how the heck are people supposed to get fly to beat him when you get fly for beating him!? so your saying the only way to beat this trainer is to get the move for beating him? sounds legit.

imo, sableye is better than golurk/golett.

I don't know whether Sableye's can Withstand the 3 birds , I only knew Gollets/Golurks could for now .-., and about the fly You'll be needing another trainer to teach it to your poke since you can't get it C:

Yeah but you need to beat them to get Fly

hat's why before you get started ask someone who has a high level to teach your pokemon fly , it costs just 200 coins I think as I've heard ;O
