Okay, on the pokemoncreed wiki under 'Fishing Contest', it says 'A number of points between approximately 1-30,000 is generated, and that is the user's score'. The current 3rd, 2nd and 1st are all above 31,000 with one exceeding 32,000. I'm not sure whether that is a bug or not, but the most I've been able to get so far is 29,644, so yeah.
