Gen 3 was my favorite... Even though it didn't have a point, I liked the storyline and the Pokemon.

I like sapphire the best. I have emerald, but I am too nervous to play it as I have all the legendary Pokemon and a shiny Pokemon, but Pokemon emerald is fragile and corrupts too easily. If Nintendo follows the pattern they've been using, Ruby/Sapphire remakes should come out in 2013. If so, it hasn't been officially announced yet.
