ok, this sounds like a really stupid question but i bought toxic and i can't figure out how to teach it to my pokemon... i went to manage items and everytime i click on use item it tells me i should teach it to a pokemon, which is what i'm trying to do.

Put Pokemon you want toxic on in first slot. Then goto Your Pokemon, Change Moves and at bottom there's Pokemon TMs.

Get the pokemon you want it to have toxic your starter then go here [you must login to view links] and click use.
