Maya's believed in different Gods and not in our Gods (God, Allah etc.)
So they believed their Gods are gonna do something...
So if you believe in an God thats not mayan you should know the world is not gonna end.

Besides2, in north canada there towns wich can live 1/2 year without sunlight. So darkness won't end the world even if it happens

Besides3, if the world is ever gonna end its not because of an God but because of we that destroy it because of gasses from car's and trash etc.
