Worth it in my opinion, it is annoying to have it on a completely different site, and you need to communicate some how. (My clan just got our forum a couple days ago)

As long as your clan is active and you have something to talk about or throw contests I'd say it's helpful. Like mentioning holding a place for free loans of levels and what not. Better than forwarding messages to everyone :P
