What are the chances of running into a shiny on maps?

1/30 chance to get it so work hard to get or else just forget about it and do random swap its work fine too

Does the shiny pokemon appears as shiny or do you need to catch it to be shiny?

It appears as a shiny. There will be 'shiny' written before the pokes name.
Example: ShinyLugia

its unpredictable but i dont think it should take u much time a catching one and u can also trying random swapping if u have money u might have a much better chance there

I've only run into 3 shinies on the maps so it's probably better to do a random swap or buy a pokemon from the games corner.

I thought it was a 1/300 chance, cause i have roamed the maps since i have been on this game (not that long) but have only ran into 2 shinies so 1/30 seems a little high
I'm a nub, don't judge me -.-
