The Infinity Blade series is really fun! It's not cheap for the whole series though.

All of the Angry Birds games are pretty good.

I really love MetalStorm: Online. It uses the tilt feature of your iPod to steer the fighter jet. Its free, and you can play against friends.

Also, if you have a favorite board game, you could search it on the Apple Store. They have a lot of them on there. :D

Subway Surfers is free and pretty fun but I got bored of it quite quickly, its a good game to play once in a while.
Also Into the Dead is a good one, so fun :D

My favorite app on my Ipod is Plague Inc. It's $0.99. It's fun and addictive. Here is a quick summary of it: You create disease, there are several different types. (Bacteria, parasite, ect) You choose a country to start your disease in. When it starts to spread you get DNA points. With them you buy upgrades for your virus such as transmissions, symptoms and abilities. You continue upgrading your disease. Then scientists try to discover a cure for your disease. Your goal is to wipe out humanity before the cure comes out.
In my opinion it is worth the 99 cents.
