Hm... I don't really see a problem. I read Shinxey's link, and really, it isn't all that easy to hit it on "Hitdown" I tried for the past few days a couple times a day and didn't hit at all. Just fix the stupid glitch. On top of all that, things are ridiculously expensive here, so winning 1,000 coins is not really such a big thing. Most of the things I really want cost much more than that (such as toxic, dowsing machine, etc.).

I also don't see the big deal about the wishing well.
