There are many different things that could make a person a "mean person." They could have their own insecurities, the environment they grew up/currently live in...those are usually more common reasons, but it's just a few.

I think that's because, others really do enjoy seeing other peoples misery.

Some people are just mean to others because 1: They are jealous of the person they are bullying 2: They are treated unfairly at home 3: Get bullied by someone else and is taking his/her's anger out on someone else.

Bullying is wrong, but sometimes its because of something you did to them

I say anyone who can take someone's life and play with it because of your own insecurities is wrong. Bullies all over the world are simply taking out on other their own problems, and this can lead to so many different problems its not even funny. And besides, who likes a person who hates everyone?

Bullying is bad. No way to legitimize it. There's no reason to do it.

It depends on how serious the matter is and if the started this off. However, I believe that we should all be sociable and caring to one another as you only get one life:P

I was bullied in school for no reason, and I can say it takes a toll on someone. They only care for themselves and want to make others miserable. They think it's funny.
