Try fighting the swimmer guy. Some times the code of what you see and if right you get coins. Or try dally raffle and lucky dip.its free and you have a chance to get coins.

The swimmer guy is too hard for me to beat right now. my tepig is only level 17 and my other pokemon are like 6 or 5. I joined the raffle and tried lucky dip

Try your luck on hit down... also, if I remember correctly, reaching a certain trainer level will give you coins.
