I don't know if u have it, but toxic will definitely help. It helped me a lot.

you need toxic.. then just switch that poke out and repeat for every bird

Yes, keep the pokemon with toxic alive to poison articuno as well

i am sure you have received the answer to your question, if not, then, i am going to repeat what the others said
first have 6 pokemon of around same level(golett/golurk work best) your choice then have your toxic user in first slot, and go to npc fights/zapmolecuno then, use toxic on first turn, then switch, and attack. hope you get lucky.
