The manga did resume and I think the anime is already finished. |

I did watch it and read it as a manga and I agree with kyogy and brys18 that it does have inappropriate scenes, and for that reason and because of the whole plot of a zombie apocalypse is not my cup of tea. I don't find it a particular good anime or manga. The creator of the serie has made other stories but in all of them they follow the same line as Highschool of the Dead. For me it was the bus scenes that killed the serie and from that point it got worse in my opinion.

i dont like this manga very much because i like mangas/animes like fairy tail , naruto , bleach etc ....

High School of the Dead/HOTD is classified as eechi so expect inappropriate scenes especially for children anyway I haven't checked the manga yet but the anime series was good.

I never actually bothered to read it, because it looked like it never released a new chapter... I might try it now, hearing that it has resumed.

I loved it, I think there was a little too much Ecchi, but I really like it, and they are making another HOTD, it should get released this year, or I hope, but I do know they're working on another

Maybe I'll read it later... last time I checked it, the latest chapter was released around 2011, so I never bothered to read it O_o

Well HSotD is for an older audience than your regular shounen stuff...just like how zombie apocalypse movies have a higher age rating than, say, the avengers.
I just don't think it's a problem that HSotD contains inappropriate scenes, it's not supposed to be targeted at children... |
