Does anyone think that having forum credits for every promo is a bit annoying? personally, i don't enjoy going to the forums for every promo i want. :P just my opinion though

i think its a good way of being active i forums but some people just spam to get them and some promos i really want but i dont have enough cedits i can be annoying

Forum credits have been added to prevent from proxying to claim more then 2 promos per household/IP. Also it keeps forums more active so :/

Keeps forums active but it also makes people act and talk idiotically just to get points. It clatters forums up too since people constantly getting their forums closed or banned making it look worse than it did before. Makes it able to have promos cheaper in a way since you can raise the credits too. But overall I completely dislike it. I know a lot of people don't like change and I'm one of those people. It's more disappointing since the forum credit thing shooed away a lot of people and they quit :[

I think it's fine so people won't claim tons of promo's via proxy. Plus, it helps keep the forums active.

It's really about finding something you like and being able to respond to something that you know how to answer.
If you can find those 5 or so threads, or even hold a small, brief conversation through a thread or two, the Credits aren't too difficult to get.
I think the Credits allow the Promo to decrease in the amount of Coins needed, allowing new(er) players to be able to claim the Promo.

But new player will not have forum credits rite :D

i like the idea of forum credits and how they work, they make it so that you have to work to get promos and dont just buy them as soon as you join, i think it is much better that way

The thing is though, they shouldn't need to promote the forums. I don't know why they HAVE to make the forums active. Another thing i don't understand is why i need forum credits for things as small as a shiny. It's a hassle having to post every single time i want to claim a promo (which is becoming more and more rare).

Wouldn't it make more sense to only have to use FC on 1 day promos? and how in the world does this prevent proxying?

who knows but new features always added to the game time to time to make it more interesting and also having fun (am 50/50 about this idea though) but its ok for me

Agreed that maybe forum credits shouldnt be needed for shinys, and yes it can be annoying but most people probably just build up a ton of credits.

I dislike them, but as long as the promos only require 5 i'm fine. It's a reasonable number and very easy to earn without spamming. Anymore would just be too much.
