His name was Simo Hayhay
He was of finnish nationality
And fought during the winter war between russia and finland(if you want to know about this war look up my thread finnish winter war)

Simo hayhay was a finnish soldier who lived in a small village in finland he had been hunting is entire life and when the threat of russia invading finland was very big he joined the finnish army he became a sniper, during the winter war he became the best sniper ever with a 505 kill streak in 100 days in temperatures below -40 degrees celsius with a mosin nagant sniper with no scope and a small lightweight submachine gun
He became the embodiment of the finnish fighting spirit during the winter war and got the nickname:White Death, this was because he was camouflaged in just white and was a huge threat to the russians, the russians tried everything anti snipers, artillery and tanks but they could not get him
After a stray bullet hit him in the jaw he retired and lived until the 1st of april 2003 when he died of old age
He did not participate in the second world war
