This happens when your mind wakes up and your body doesn't get the signal to wake up right away. I've had this happen once myself. It's pretty odd that it happens every night to you though. I would talk to a doctor about it.

if its like mikehappy said, then that'll be a nerve system malfunction, wouldnt it? and if your nerves are messing up, then it could lead to total body paralysis if you dont stop whats causing it. Although i believe if your a bad sleeper, then maybe its just that

it happens when you have such a deep nights rest that you just completely shut down. the paralysis part comes in when you are trying to "reboot" your body

In older en days they would consider people who were suffering from paralysis as those who were obsessed by Sprites. Lot of different rituals were performed on the poor guy xD. Until Science came and explained it Lol

You get sleep paralysis every night? That must be hard for you. You should probably go see a doctor and find a way to stop it from happening.
