Hi everyone! Please do not read any further if you don't want a spoiler alert on 6th gen things. I was just wondering what everyone though about the new Fairy type. I particularly don't like it but that is just my opinion i guess. Any comments on if you like it and why pokemon made a fairy type?

I totally agree with you. i don't know how pokemon made Gardevoir a fairy type. It just disgusts me. Well everyone keep the feedback coming about the new fairy type!

Well, I guess it's good for checking Dragons and making them less overpowered.

Though I don't like the fact that most types have been added in to Pokemon since the third generation, the increase in pokemon will need more types. I suppose giving more types will mean more strategy needed when forming teams to fight certain battles, which is a plus.

Honestly, I think it's really stupid, especially the part where older pokemon get it too. It was bad enough with the new type, now i think they went too far.

I don't really mind about fairy types but I wonder how they came up with a fairy type xD

I'm actually looking forward to them.
Flabébé seems cool but really like Jigglypuff turning to fairy though.

@Jeff Yeah dragons definetly needed a debuff but fairy? I don't know where pokemon got that.

Adding the type to the older Pokemon does wreck it.
If they are going to introduce a new type, it should only apply to the new generation and any after that.

I honestly didn't know aboutthe fairy type. But now that i think about it, adding it to older gens is kind of stupid. and now, its more difficult especially for someone whose playing the game and used to older gen pokes being the way they are, and then these new gens are almost completely different

I don't like it.. FAiries are for girls and are nothing to pokemon. GameFreak is runnin out of ideas

It's a good idea making a new type. Makes Dragons not so overpowered, and gives Poison types another type to counter (as it only had Grass to counter).
