Wet ipod 5th gen,
i went to the lake and jumped in without realizing my ipod was in my pocket. i put it in rice, thinking the water would extract, and it hasnt worked since. i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Just google ways of how to get water out there will be many more ways and tutorials but yeah also leave it in a airing cupboard over night whilst in rice helps

ehh take it to a local electronics repair shop, if they cant do anything try putting in places that arent humid

Yes I never heard of putting it in rice before but just take it to GameStop or the store u bought it from and see if they can repair it.

Put it in a dry place, maybe a bed.. Put a couple fans on it or heater, whatever is available. After it's dry, stick it on the charger for a day, then walla
