Beginner's Complete Guide
Right so first off, most of you probably don't know me but whatever. I used to play this game quite a lot obviously and I've seen the game progress.
For the better, and for the worse. I made a thread not too too long ago about trade caps being ridiculous and that's improved now and it's more sensible
which is good I suppose.
The main reason why I had made that thread was because whenever I came online(which wasn't that often), I saw newbies all over the chatroom asking for levels,
asking for training, asking how to train, asking how they could get rich, how they could get Pokemon as expensive as catcherpro... LOL.. not really. Not the last part. Although you will never be as cool as him.
Well those newbies left after a while. Why? Because they weren't satisfied with how they were doing in the game. Everybody wants to be on top, right?
You see zapdos all over leaderboards and the kids are like 'Woah... wish I was up there'. So we encourage them and tell them to train. After a while however,
they would finally see that it is pretty much impossible to gain wealth and to become one of the richest, if even rich on this game.
It may just be me, but I wouldn't like it if all I had on the game was trash. I already left once or twice in the past because I had pretty much nothing.
Now I don't play the game as much anymore, I'm usually busy with real life stuff, but I still pop onto chats when I can, to say hello to old friends and such.
In order for this guide to be successful, we would need this guide to be put on the first page people are redirected to once they register on the game,
possibly as an 'Important Message' which would be there in the first week of their registration in order to grab their attention and make them familiar with the forums.
It'd probably look something like 'Important Message: To get you settled in and on your way to becoming the best trainer in the Creed Region, go to [guidewebsite]'
Before we get started, any comments are appreciated, good or bad. Constructive criticism however, is greatly valued. Your input is needed.
Okay so, let's get started! :D

>Trading(not completed yet - still taking suggestions)
Trading is one of the most common ways people either get rich by, or lose their wealth by.
First thing's first, I do not approve of 'The Rates List' but it is a decent guide to go by if you don't know the rates.
Wealth is measured in terms of 'K coins' meaning 'thousand coins'. So if a pokemon is worth '2k', it is worth 2000 coins.
You can find The Rates List here -> [you must login to view links]
So basically, to be a successful tradesmaster you need to understand how trades work. You need to be confident on what you're offering.
The way it works is that in every single trade you negotiate, try and make it so that you're benefitting more from it.
Some call that 'ripping off', we like to call it being good at trading.
Say you own a pokemon worth 1k and another worth 1.5k and you see a pokemon you like which is rated at around 3k. Yes, there is a 0.5k difference, but give it a go.
Make an offer and who knows, they may accept it?
Another good trading tip is to look out for pokemon people constantly want. Those are called 'Good investments' which mean the prices for those will eventually rise.
If you manage to pick those pokemon up for let's say.. 4k. In a few days/weeks/months time, that pokemon will be worth a lot more. This method links in with collecting.
Now that we're done discussing how you can trade, here's where you can trade! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ RULES BEFORE USING BOTH, THE CHATROOM AND FORUMS.

>Betting
I'll assume you know how betting works so, let's get to it straight away.
Now now, getting a little risky with things. This method can be beneficial but in the process - very risky.
Betting is easy if you can do it right. How do you do it right? I'll tell you.
I'd say around 1/5th of my wealth has come from coins I have acquired via betting.
You definitely need some start-up wealth to gain more wealth.
thohir10 made a great guide on how to get quick coins. Here it is -> [you must login to view links]
I've won and I've lost, use this method at your own risk. Do not come complaining to me if you lose your coins, it is entirely up to you.
So how I did it was by always placing the bets and asking the other person to take it.
How it works is that you need to lose a bunch of bets in order to have a greater chance to win one.
I have helped you enough with this and so I will not let you know any more. The rest is up to you!
>Contest Participations
Never be afraid to take part in contests, no matter what sort of contest.
There are often chat contests as well as forum contests taking place, BUT DO NOT GO AROUND ASKING PEOPLE TO CONTEST THINGS.
If there is a questions contest in chats, you best hope you have a quick connection seeing as most people try and google the answers.
But hey, it works, so why not do it yourself? Give it a go, you may get lucky.
>Clans
Clans can be important in various ways. Clans reward you greatly for your work.
The first benefit of being in a Clan is that you are involved in a community.
The second benefit is that some clan owners do promote their clan with clan contests/giveaways/prizes for what you do for the clan.
The last benefit is that when you train whilst being in a clan, you rack up Clan Credits which can be spent in different ways.
These are the things you can earn by trading in your clan credits and money if necessary.
$250,000 250,000 credits
10 Coins 10,000,000 credits & $1,000,000
Random Swap 15,000 credits & $1,000,000
Specific Swap 4,500,000 credits & $750,000
>Training
Crixus91 made a pretty solid guide containing 3 good ways on how to train your pokemon and get yourself to a higher level.
Here it is -> http://pcreedhelp.com/guide2/
>Auction House
To get to the auction house go under the trades/misc section on the left side of your screen you will see it midway through.
In the auction house there is a couple of things you can do including buying colored pokemon (cursed, luminous, rainbow, shadow, and possibly golden) buy shiny pokemon and even buy high lv pokemon (lv 2000-3000 sometimes more) my suggestion is that before buying colored pokemon that is on the auction house check the rate on that pokemon and deduct the part of the rate out if it is unbase.
If you can try to buy the colored poke you want on the auction house for cheap try to do it but donât go and jump the bet ( if the current bid is 250 try 251 or 300 not 1k) my suggestion is do not sell your colored poke on the auction more than likely you will not get as much as you could if you had held onto it and waited a week or 2.
To hold an auction you will see this at the top of screen once you are on the auction house. You can only hold an auction for 2 pokemon at a time. This is what you should see
Here you can bid or hold an auction for a Pokemon - [Hold Auction].
To sell your stuff select hold auction may new players even me when I was new put my pokemon on the auction for 5 days DO NOT do this it will just make you have to wait 5 days and you will not be able to sell anything else until those pokes are done in the auction house and are sold.
>Games Corner
The games corner has a lot of minigames and things other than that to do. In the games corner you can access the daily raffle (in which you can select a number between 1 and 750 and at the end of the day 3 numbers are chosen so hope you are 1 of 3) there is the 50/50 ( which is considered betting so read back to previous section)
>The racetracks (Welcome to the racetracks, here you can race your pokemon. Lose a race? You forfeit your pokemon to the winner, vice versa.
Higher level pokemon have a better chance of winning and the loser will forfeit their pokemon to the winner.
Typed pokemon (Cursed/Shadow etc.) can only be raced with the same pokemon. Untyped can be versed with any.
In some cases more than two people will race, this will cause two races on the same pokemon.
Note: The level cap system applies to racing. Pokemon will not be returned under any circumstances, race at your own risk.) the Lucky Dip (which you can receive an item, pokemon or coins and money you can only do it once a day) The
>Hitdown (which every 180 minutes you have a chance to win
Hitdown Prizes -> [you must login to view links]
To obtain these prizes you must wait until there is only a few seconds left and then select the button after the current round ends and before the next round begins)
>The fishing contest ( in which you must obtain a high score by fishing with an old rod, good rod or super rod when you fish out a pokemon you get points depending on each catch for each catch the previous score you get is replaced by the latest score you must get a pretty high score 30000-32000 is recommended by me if you want to have a chance at winning).
>Pokemon Raffle (To gain a raffle ticket/entry, you must submit any level 5 typed pokemon except Shiny (Cursed/Shadow etc.) to the jackpot. Obviously the more entries you gain, the better chance you have of winning. The winner receives all the pokemon in the jackpot and is randomly picked at the end of the day if there are at least 50 entries otherwise it will carry on to the next day. Good luck!)
>Hangman ( basically like a traditional hangman except it is pokemon based You'll gain 300 points upon a successful game, however you'll also lose 30 points per incorrect letter.
An extra 200 points will be deducted if the hangman is hanged. )
>The Scrambler (he is a guy who scrambles pokedex entries if you can unscramble them successfully you get 250 points I know its not a lot but it is easily done if you know your pokemon) The Smallest Number (The person who picks the smallest number wins but There is a catch, it costs 30 coins to enter.
If somebody picks the same number as you, that number is disqualified.)
>The Collection Contest ( currently still not working but if it does start working you have to collect a high number of regular pokemon and then submit them in) The Unknown Collector he collects unknowns he will ask for things such as a FEEBAS unown set which is a F E E B A S unown he will offer 15000-20000 points.) The Refferals ( you get 100 coins for every person you refer to this game through a banner you can receive on this page as well)
>The Wishing Well (you can have people wish in your well to receive coins up to 60 you can wish in other peoples wells but the catch you can only wish in other peoples well once a month) The Slots ( You use 5 coins once a pull of the lever if u get a winning combination you can get 45 coins)
>The High-Low (Simply guess if the next card is valued higher or lower.
It costs $10,000 per go. You can win $10,000, so have at it!)
>Miscellaneous things : you can buy the promo in the games corner , you can buy legendaries for coins such as jirachi, latias, latios and others for those pokes there is a small chance each time you buy for them to be a shiny which makes them worth more.
You can also buy Luminous starters all are 10k coins besides the unova starters which are 20k coins.
>Collecting
-Knowing the difference between what to collect and what not to may be the difference between being rich, average, or nothing at all.
Things you should collect:
-Rares: As more and more are being inactive/banned big rares begin to collect massive rates as people are willing to pay more for them.
If you have a rare, best idea is to keep it long enough so it's rate increases or wait for a offer more than its rate.
-Hoards/Hordes: The more the better. People are willing to pay extra for a bigger collection of a promo.
Pay what they are worth when buying and when you have 15+ try to sell/trade for a bit higher than it's rate.
-Colored Legendaries: Most colored legendaries are limited. IE CursedRaikou, CursedSuicune.
If you get your hands on one of these you're lucky. Best bet is to keep it as it will raise massively.
-Anything you like: Basically the rule is if you like something, someone else probably will want it also.
Keep it until you get an offer you really like.
-Collect the Hard to Trade (HTT) Pokemon: If you find them cheap (some go for less than half their rate!
[GoldenLugia, RainbowHitmonlee, etc.]), trade for them. Sooner or later someone will come by and pay full rate. And you make profit.
