Okay, I went to my account to make a bunch of my Pokémon not for trade, and I did it:

But then I did a test to see if it would work, and not to trade, but to see if it would show up as nft, I clicked on the "trade creation" button and typed one of my friends' trainer numbers in the box. then I get this:

And as you can see, I put Pokémon that are showing up on both screens as nft, but it doesn't show up as nft when I go to make a trade. :/ What should I do? I've already tried deselecting them all and reselecting them, and it didn't work. Help?

The NFT feature makes it so others can't create a trade with those pokes, only you can create trade if it is nft. Ask someone else to screenshot their screen of the trade, they should be nft.
