Long, long ago, Pokémon lived in tribes. There were 18 tribes; one for each type. One day, the leader of each tribe got a prophecy:
Darkness will fall
upon the tribes
many will lose their lives
But there will be 18
who will attempt to defeat it
But if they fail
Darkness will engulf the tribes forever

Hi, I'm Shimmerstar1161 and I'm making another fanfic! I always thought it would be cool to read a fanfic like this, so I'm making one. Oh, and this will be like a crossover of Pokémon and Warrior Cats. Please enjoy!

Chapter 1
It Begins in Fire Tribe

"Victor! Hey, Victor, wake up!"
I blinked my eyes open as I heard my voice. As I yawned, my V-shaped ears got fire around them. I saw my best friend Luke the Growlithe prodding me with his paw.
"What is it?" I asked. "Why did you wake me up so early?"
"Well, I thought you'd appreciate being woken up BEFORE the apprentice ceremony so you can get ready." Luke said, smiling in amusement.
"Oh, our apprentice ceremony is today?!" I said, snapping fully awake. Luke and I went outside the den we shared and I saw many other Fire types in our camp. I went over to a small pool of water in the corner of camp to quickly wash myself. Soon enough, I saw the leader of the tribe-who also happens to be Luke's father- Nine the Arcanine, walk onto a huge boulder in the middle of camp.
"All Pokémon old enough to go out of camp gather under the Meeting Boulder!" He roared. Once everyone gathered, he continued. "Two Pokémon are ready to become apprentices. Luke, Victor, come up."
Luke and I walked onto the boulder.
"Luke, you're mentor will be Charcoal." Nine said. Luke went over to a Charizard. "Victor," I shivered as the great leader addressed me. "Your mentor will be Mystic." I nodded, eyes sparkling, and went over to a Ninetails. She looked at me with her eyes sparkling as well. The Tribe members called out Luke and my names, and then wandered off to continue doing what they were doing.
Meanwhile, Nine sighed. "The prophecy has begun."

Chapter 2
Thunder in Electric Tribe

"So, what are we going to do today?" I asked my mentor, an Ampharos named Beam, as I bounded around him.
"Well, I was thinking we'd check out Electric Tribe territory." He said, smiling. "You're full of energy, aren't you, Thunder?" He added. I grinned.
We walked over to the entrance of the camp. I personally think Elecrtic Tribe camp is the coolest- even if I have never seen the others. Electric Tribe is located on a peak, so there are LARGE spiky rocks surrounding the camp, with yellow rocks here and there. Those rocks are called Thunder Stones. They are called Thunder Stones because of their golden appearance and because they give electric types power, and even make some evolve! One reason my name is Thunder is because of my golden eyes, star-shaped tail tip and bands around my front legs.
Beam and I walked out of camp and to the right. We continued walking until we reached two, TALL pillar-like Thunder Stones.
"This is Rock Tribe border." Beam announced.
"Hey, are those pokemon over there?" I asked, seeing 4 figures in the distance.
"Yes... And I think they're a patrol coming this way." Beam said. Sure enough, the patrol came over to us. Leading the patrol was a large Golem, with a Probopass close by. I guessed the other two was a mentor with their apprentice because it was a Lairon with a Geodude.
"Oh, Steela, hi!" Beam said, waving to the Lairon. "That's Steela. We were friends when we were apprentices. So, I see you have an apprentice now."
"Yeah. This is Flint." Steela said. The Geodude waved enthusiastically.
"This is my apprentice, Thunder." Beam said. I waved shyly.
"You're a Shinx, correct?" The probopass asked. I nodded.
"Steela, Magno, we need to get going." The Golem sighed.
"Oh, calm down, Boulder!" Steela said. "Well, he's right. Bye!" She added, waving.
"Let's go to the next border." Beam said. This time we went left until we reached two large pillar-like brown stones.
"What's this border?" I asked.
"This is Ground Tribe. Their camp is underground." He added, seeing my puzzled expression. We left and this time went straight.
"This is Fire Tribe, right? It's a lot more exciting." I joked, as we approached two large pillar-like... Fire Stones, I think they're called. Fire Tribe territory had black rock and lava pools everywhere.
"Yep. We should head back now." Beam said, and we went back to camp.
