I looked about, wondering where I was, a girl walked up to me "Hey! who are you?" She asked "I'm...Blue" I greet myself

"Doo-da-da-lalalalalalalalala..." I whisper to myself, watching Yugioh Abridged and stalking pokemon creed forums on my phone.

I got up "I should be going now..." I said and walked away

I noticed someone walk by me so I get up and follow. "E-excuse me?" I ask. "Where are we?"

I was walking home when all of a sudden I was ambushed. Crap. He's holding a gun! What do I do?

Out of nowhere a character that looks like one of my drawings jumps out of nowhere and slits one of the criminals' throat. The other turns and runs. He hops into the arid, lands in front of him, and lightning bolts him to a crisp.

I am stunned. "Who are you? Why did you save me?"

"I believe I'm your guardian."

"Is - Is this a joke?"

"He's telling the truth." A sandy-haired kid with a paintbrush tail appears next to me.

"I- I-"

The Latinos puts a hand on my shoulder. "There's no need for words."

I look at the person who approached me "I have no idea..." I say

"Are we following anyone particular?" I ask. I put my phone into my pocket, waiting for an answer.

I look around through the city then find two other kids - a boy and a girl - and a pair of lights were floating above their heads.

I walk up to them, Ryaku and Sandy Hair next to me. "Sup?"

"Ummm.... I don't... really know..." I say.

I looked at the two "I was on my way to the arena, aparently a tournament is being held" I say and walk away

I catch up. "What tournament?" I ask, feeling stupid.

"I hear that every year, the Kingdom hosts a tournament, the winner gets to work for the Kingdom and receives allot of money" I explain

Ryaku looks at me. "A tournament. You should enter me in, Zack. My lightning abilities could own the competition."

I take a step back. "Ryaku... I just met you. I honestly don't think I can enter you... I'm gonna need to get your skill set down, devise a proper tactic... You know international tournaments! Hardcore players and such. And don't forget the champ... We both need training under our belts."

My eyes sparkle at the word money. "You mean shiny shiny jewels?" I ask. I make a :D face. "I must enter!" I yell, running to the arena.

I entered the first round, some kid named Pepe sent out his doodle Dorag, I sent out Shadow, a block type, it was Black with very little red and looked really impressive, Dorag used Magic Curse 1 and I told Shadow to block, Shadow used Reflect and I easily 1-hit KOed Dorag, Pepe ran off crying
