(Okay, this is probably going to be a little confusing, but from what I remember [I'm rewatching it] the ISLAND ITSELF made the plane crash. I forgot the reason why, but another thing it that the island makes it basically impossible to escape it, even making a raft and sailing away doesn't work, the island will just bring you back somehow. =/)

I felt a sharp pain through my back. It felt like blood was coming up my throat.
