do you think women athleats should get paid the same as men this question came up in my jsla class

for me i say yes i cannot see the diffrence we are all human no matter what gender we are if males get paid so should women in sport

but like i said what do you think

I think everyone everywhere should be paid according to their skills and not their gender or race. That would be the only way for anything to be considered equal.

I think female athletes should also get paid like the male athletes.
And agree with that they should be paid according to skills.

In my opinion, wages or prize-money should be determined by the level of performance and not by gender. For instance, in tennis, if the top-seeded women can play 5 high-quality, physically and emotionally draining sets like the top-seeded men can, then of course, there should be an equality in prize-money.

Well they should get paid equally cause they're doing the same job.
But depending on the teams salary cap and everything they don't.
Although that might be cause mens are watched more.

It doesn't really matter as long as they can live with that money they should be thankful they have money. Also I say it should be equal depending on the sport they play for men and women.

I think woman should be payed the same if they work the same, in games like tennis woman should not be rewarded the same as men if they only play 3 sets per game and the men play 5, how ever in games like basketball where they all play the same amount of time per quarter, they should be payed the same type of wage as males

Also it depends on how much the team is willing to pay the player based on how good they are. I think men will always get paid more than woman because pro sports for woman just aren't as popular

I totally agree with all of the things said above me but women have less muscle build up in their body than men and that is why it is harder for them to perform at the same level as men

Not as many people watch women's sports as men's sports so they will never be paid equally

But, because of the Salary Caps with teams, and especially because men's sports are watched more, and therefore funded more, it's most likely not going to happen.
