i have noticed around this game that alot of people have over lvl 500 pokemon i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how i could get a pokemon that strong without winning it from races and any other training tips would be great :)

best way would be buy winning contests on chat/forum then paying people with really high level pokemon to train yours, also by buying promo, hope this helps :) and as a training tip, try swimmer richard until you have a teach of golett/golurks with fly and 1 with toxic and then use dark alley
