I was battling the Mew in the Dark Alley when this..thing came up. I think that's a skype symbol and I don't know why it's there.

It's probably your computer lag. Sometimes when you switch programs a little ghost appears. Try logging in without ever opening Skype and see if it still occurs.

I didn't open skype, and every now and then it still appears on some set of numbers on the screen
