Believe it or not, scamming should be legal. It improves gameplay, relationships and reduces moderator effect on the game. Its also not an unusual concept, most games do not resolve or punish for scams, for gameplay and logistical reasons.

Here's some brief notes / reasons for why scamming should be legal. They should be considered when making your vote.

- If scamming is illegal, the game wouldn't be purely Player to Player. There would always be a middleman holding everyone's hand. Results would be down to the choices a staff member makes, rather than between players using the games mechanics.

- Scamming creates emotion which can be positive for the game. It can build friendships, and break them. It creates player to player feuds.

- Scamming breaks up day to day activities, creating headlines and stories among players.

- Scamming builds trust and friendship among players. If you take a chance on someone and they don't scam you when they freely could have, your bond with that person is far stronger. Without scamming, there would be no solid way to prove friendship among players.

- Scamming creates positive and negative paths, instead of a single grey one. This creates a bigger window of gameplay.

- If scamming was illegal, people would freely hand over coins and pokemon at will to other players, causing staff huge hassle. It'd take weeks or months to resolve a single scam, this would create a huge backlog unless there are more staff. More staff means more possible corruption. Even after this, people would rarely be happy with the result and complain one way or another.

- If scamming is illegal, because of the huge grey area, staff would have a far larger influence on the game and would have to make their own judgements rather than following the current strict rules. This would result in more anger and accusations of corruption towards the staff team.

Currently I don't think it will be made legal, but it should be at least looked into. This poll is just to see which way the majority leans.
