Amy used Sandstorm to try to cancel out the storm.

Due to one single Lugia wing flap causing a 30 day storm, it wasn't very strong and was easily canceled out

Amy still tried to beat the storm and continued to use Sandstorm over and over again.

Amy was happy. Since she was a ground-type she didn't like water.

Lugia was a Psychic/flying type and a newborn and had NO idea what was going on and fired an AeroBlast towards a window, Canceling out the just conjured sandstorm, and the weather was clear again
