Marley arrived just as the final bell rang. (Final bell in the morning, I mean.)
"Whew. Just in time." she sighed, going to the photo-shoot room.

Oxy focused and teleported to his locker. He opened it and looked in the mirror stationed in it. He rubbed off the dirt on his face and checked in with his homeroom teacher before heading to the photo-shooting room.

Marley was the forty-ninth student.
"Augh. This will take forever!" she moaned, looking at who was in the twentieth spot. It was a kid in her class named Jackson. He was a bit weird, and he HATED getting his picture taken. In fact, last year, he got so camera shy he went into hiding for 3 hours and the line couldn't continue until he got his pic taken. And then on top of that, it took an ADDITIONAL hour to get him to strike a good pose.
"I'm 18 freaking years old. How much longer do it have to put up with this?" she complained.

Walking, walking, walking, Jek made it to school. He walked to the photo-shooting room, since he wanted to take a picture with George, his nugget buddy.
"5 minutes late!" exclaimed the teacher of the room.
"Tsk-tsk, teacher," Jek replied," it doesn't matter, so long as I'm here, it's fine. I was already here at 6 AM for 0 period anyways."
The teacher dismissed him, and Jek could see them grumbling to themselves. He unzipped his backpack, and revealed to the class his new treasure.

Oxy looked around the room. He saw a girl standing at around the fiftieth mark. Something seemed different about her, but he couldn't figure out what.

"Aww man, 86th place..." Jek cried. The line was as long as a baseball game's bathroom line on the game's break. Jek blinded people in front of him with George, managing to cut them and stop at the 50th place. In front of him was a girl with a nice hairdo.

After about fifteen or so minutes, they were already on that problem kid, Jackson. He totally freaked out.
"Oh geeze. I'm gonna be stuck her for HOURS!" she complained, as the boy went running past her, the teachers in pursuit.

"Goddammit!" Jek shouted. The person, Jackson, who was at the photo booth was going bonkers. Using his powers, he now knew the girl in front of him was Marley Baker, who could use telepathy. Jek chucked George at Jackson, and he was knocked out on the floor.

"This is ridiculous!" Oxy thought. He focused and teleported to around the fiftieth mark.

"Geez. Now we're probably gonna have to wait until he regains consciousness!" Marley groaned, as the nurse wheeled Jackson out of the room.
"Kids, we're just going to skip Jackson this time around and do him last, so the rest of you can get on with your days." one of the teachers announced.

"Thank goodness." Oxy thought after hearing the announcement. "At least we get out of class for a while." Oxy thought.

Marley heard a voice about 3 or so places behind her.
"Yeah. You should have been here last year. He held us up for a grand total of FOUR HOURS! Even worse, our lunch and recess was mixed in with the third hour of that, and we couldn't leave to go eat, or play, or even go to the bathroom! The teachers were afraid we'd get 'all filthy' before we got our pictures taken." she told.
"By the way, my name's Marley. I'm in a class upstairs."

Jek picked up George and walked back to his place. Everyone cheered him on, but the teacher grabbed his neck and pinned.
"You are in sooooo much trouble!" screamed the teacher. The teacher pulled Jek by the ear and into the office.

Marley and at least most of the other students just stood and watched as Jek was dragged out of the room into the office.

"Oh. Hey." Oxy said "I was here last year so that's news to me. I travel a lot so I'm never in a school for two years." Oxy said. "Anyways, I'm Oxy." Oxy announced.
