So i was in the chat room n got to thinking and threw out the idea of having the trading cap increased. Im not talking a full overhaul just a addition. As of right now the max is 15k and thats when you have a 30k trainer level. So lets keep rolling with this and just bump it up more. As a example say you have a 70k trainer level at this point youd be able to recieve a pokemon thats level does not exceed 35k. So basically its a 50% reduction of the trainer level. With this being said Im sure im not the only one that thinks this would be a good thing to add or update to keep the progression going. I like that idea. It would get annoying to have like a 50k TL, but you can only get level 15k Pokemon max. Awesome idea. 10/10

Actually, I think the trade cap formula should be remodeled to something like...

Say TL is N.

Trade Cap = 1500+(N/4)

Lets assume the trainer level is 1000.
Then, Trade cap = 1500+1000/4
Trade cap will 1750, which is more than the Trainer Level itself.

Nice try, but a formula which will be good no matter what the trainer level is, will be better, I know you can think of one :)


The idea of having trade cap increased comes in mind of all those who train hard, you are not the first one who wants it...


I think the current way is fine, so you can't trade pokemon above 15k.

This way, the players have to train themselves after their pokemon reaches 15k, and if trade cap was increased, then lots of players will start having pokemon above level 25k or 30k, at least right now having a pokemon above 25k feels better, and you feel the hard work was worth something.

Training is important in most pokemon games, and trade cap increase ruins it.

I dunno, I would like for this to happen, but wouldn't it make the higher leveled players more lazy if they could trade higher Pokemon? I also like the idea though, I would want my Pokemon to be trained for me at that level, it would be so pro.

Eh. Im not so sure about this. Really no point. Most of the players who have 15k + pokes usually train. but. a lot of people would just want to get more training anyways...

actually this trade cap system should be removed and this trade cap system was the WORST upgrade ever in this game so i request alan to just remove it NO ONE likes this system.
