What is your Pokemon theories?

Mine:
- Well my biggest theory, would be able Cloyster, and Gastly. A Pokemon theory that is in fact one of the oldest. You see, if you take Cloyster's "face" or "head" and compare it to a Gastly it is in fact the exact same Pokemon except no gas, hence Gastly. In Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow the game version there was a glitch for cheaters and game shark users called " MISSINGNO " Missingno was rumored to be from Cubone evolving into a Kangaskhan but instead found a skull and turned into Marowak. But if you combine these theories with the evolution of Gengar and Haunter you may see my point of view.

- Cloyster evolves from Shellder which no one has ever seen the inside of a Shellder. And Gastly is a ghost so naturally he's dead. Maybe just maybe Gastly is the spirit of a Shellder. Which would explain the exquisite resemblance! And with no shell it's face wouldn't be hidden from all views and of course no ghost and hide within matter and use it as attire. Shellder evolves at a certain level into Cloyster as where Gastly does the same into Haunter. BUT! After trading Haunter you get the Shadow Pokemon, Gengar. Other rumors claims that Gengar is in fact a show of a Clefable. Possibility: 80%. Haunter could take it's form due to facing the environments and light. If you remember in season 1, when Ash, Misty, and Brock goto Maidens Peak Gastly in the end ran from daylight. Haunter could have adapted it's form because it could no longer hide it's body within a shell. Which could explain why Gastly and Haunter CAN use few water attacks.

I do enjoy pokemon theories A LOT!! I see new ones every once and a while but I also have seen and heard of them all. It interests me greatly how people think of these theories

That sentence is incorrect, Shellder evolves into Cloyster when it has made contact with a Water Stone, Not by level.

There is another one about gastly too.
Electrode/gastly are Gastly possessed pokeballs.
They have the same eyes
and they self destruct because gastly is so angry that they explode.

Actually it was an Voltorb and a Haunter, Not Electrode and Ghastly.

There's a Theory that Ditto is really just a failed experiment to create Mew, the evidence is that those two pokemon are the only two pokemon to naturally learn Transform, Both have the same coulors of Pink by default and Blue when shiny

Another commonly heard theory is how Gengar and Clefable are the same, yet opposite. I put a new creepy twist on that theory; Gengar is a demonically possessed Clefable.

I thought it was Gengar was Clefable's shadow... But eh, You call it what you want. .-.

There was another theory I've heard of, but I can't remember it....

Everything is a Pokemon.

I've noticed some Pokemon designs for inorganic stuff, such as ice cream, pinecones, gears, and swords. It's a bit unsettling. There's no Chair Pokemon as of yet (maybe one will come on Gen 7 or something) and then you'd have to watch being attacked everytime you sit down or something.

People are Pokemon, now THAT is a theory I can get behind.

But Frozen Fury, theories are based on evidence provided in game. If we edit little things to make it seem better, then it renders the theory invalid to any extent, even though most of them probably are too far over-the-top already. The correction about the water stone being the form of evolution rather than level doesn't change any possibility that the theory is true. Shellder and Haunter still require outside forces to evolve, linking the evolutions again. And opinions relate more-so to if a person believes a theory or not, not how they change it.

I know this isn't much of a theory, But I like how Magikarp is said to be based off of carp that splashed over a waterfall or something and were transformed into Dragons. :P
