Chell is the person you play as, GLaDos is the one who was in the Potato, and is possibly the mother of Chell, It wasn't really explained, and is the one who trys to kill Chell through Tests because she is an A.I with no cares in the world about Humanity, and Wheatly is the core that is a Moron.
