The Shadow Shulk swept the real Shulk off his feet, picked him up and threw him in to the fountain before following. "Riki will save Hom Hom friend!" He called out before jumping in after them.

Shulk and Riki found themselves in a huge hall filled with mirrors. The were just barely able to see Shadow Shulk head into a mirror. "Follow him!" Shulk called out. Shulk and Riki both entered the mirror.
