I was on a building-top and holding onto the egg.
"Hello, Icarus." I say simply.

((Not so sure if thats a loophole past the New Trainer, Starting Off with an Egg, and No catching of wild pokemon rule with that Fennekin.))
Icarus smiled, holding his own egg close, "How've you been Ace?" he asked. His smile soon faded with his next statement, "It's funny, how we're meeting everyone again on the anniversary of that event...." he said recalling the sacrifice of their village's protector.

"Not really, I'm not up for seeing friends anymore." I say."But then again I've always been a shady *egg jumps* guy.

Icarus nodded, "Well, if you ever need me, just give me a call." he said giving his Poketch number. Icarus soon dropped off of the rooftop safely. He began a scenic route to Petalburg City.

I take a different route.

Icarus sat down beneath the shade of a tree next the a little pond. He clutched his egg closely, "Oh what wonders I wonder you may hold..." he said drowsily.

Oxy received his egg and thanked the person whom gave him the egg. He left the building and went towards where he saw Icarus headed. After he caught glimpse of Icarus he headed over there. "I forgot to give you my Poketch number." Oxy said, entering his number into Icarus's Poketch.

(Honestly, Flamie, I never really liked how they set up the routes, there should always be at least more than one route to an area, like there is in real life. By the way, odd choices of eggs, you should have put more starters in... )

As I exited Littleroot town, I made my way to Petalburg.
(I have never played a hoenn game, ever. Only Kanto, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos...)

Icarus replied hazily, "Thanks Oxy, if you want to stay, I'm plannin on cookin something up later." he said as he dozed off.

"Sure. I'll stay for a meal." Oxy replied. "Can you tell me what it is or is it going to be a surprise?" Oxy asked.

I saw Icarus asleep or just about, and someone else. I tightened my hoodie strings and walked by, for the way I took intersected with this route. Oh well, I just hope they don't notice me.

"It can't be, but that hoodie." Oxy muttered to himself. "Ace, is that you?" Oxy called out to the person walking by.

"Hi..." I mutter. I kept my hair covering my black eye.

"Long time, no see." Oxy laughed. "Lemme enter my Poketch number will quick." Oxy said.

"Oh, okay," I say quietly.
