I begin sketching what I see, sense, and hear. There was a distinct difference between the tree types, and with every step leaves crunched beneath my sneakers.

Riki got up, leaving the fire burning and went in his tent. He grabbed some gear and took a path away from the base camp.

I continue to sketch and write details of this woodland area. I heard coyote yips and pulled up my cleaver. I smirk evilly and follow the noise- still mapping .

Riki continued on his way and found himself at a large pond.

New Area Discovered: Potus Pond
A huge pond with vegetation at the bank. The seems safe to drink, but you should still boil it before drinking it. It is filled with aquatic life.

I found the coyote and threw my cleaver right in it's face. I grab the body and drag it back to camp.

Riki got out his fishing rod and started fishing. Soon after he did he caught a medium-sized fish. He stopped fishing and but the fish away. He went back to the camp and sat by the fire.

I was skinning the coyote, blood covering my hands and shirt. It was so much easier to see than if I had done this in daylight. I had left my jacket inside my tent. I had finished skinning it and gutting it. I also took out the bones from it. If someone thinks I'm crazy for eating this, well, I don't hunt animals for sport. I chuckled evilly to myself and began heating up the meat.

"Riki will trade you this big fish for that small doggy meat." Riki offered.

"I can go get more, keep the dog." I say, getting up and going back into the woods with my notebook, pen, and cleaver.

"Yay!" Riki exclaimed, grabbing the coyote. He continued cooking it along with his fish.

After a little while, I come back with a deer, I was dragging it by it's antlers.
"We'll use this as bait for catching better meat," I say.

"More food, yay!" Riki exclaimed. "Food done." Riki added as he took the fish and coyote off the fire.

"I'm good. You should put out that fire, it's blinding me," I say.

"Riki sorry." Riki said before extinguishing the fire.

I blink twice. "Thanks."
